About the Vidarbha Youth Welfare Society

V.Y.W.S., one of the oldest and premiere educational institutions in Vidarbha region was established in the year 1965.  Founder president of the society, late Prof. Ram Meghe, ex minister of education, Maharashtra state, together  with his colleagues founded the society with a sole objective of imparting quality education to the needy youths in surrounding rural area.  The Aim of the society is to provide educational facilities to the people by opening schools, colleges, hostels, libraries and technical institutions and to give scholarships to deserving students.  Today the society has become one of the most excellent academic centers in central India with over 17 schools, 8 Junior colleges, 6 M.C.V.C. Colleges and 10 Senior colleges providing formal as well as advanced technical education to 18000 students arts, commerce, science, engineering, management, pharmaceuticals, medicine, etc.  Honorable Dr. Nitin Dhande, President of the society and other members of the executive body are putting great efforts for its progress.  Their valuable and timely guidance has always been a great source of inspiration to the staff and students.
